I'm selling my Orion 180mm f/15 Mak OTA (Optical Tube Assembly). I'm the second owner, I got it from the daughter of a fellow who bought it new, used it only a few times, then passed-away unfortunately. I picked it up for Mars last summer but everytime I looked, the dust storm obscured almost all detail. But it's a nice scope, used on other targets it performs very well. Especially nice views of Saturn. The long focal length means you can get higher powers with long focal length eyepieces with comfortable eye relief. Does very well on deep-sky and double stars as well. The winter open clusters just sparkle like diamonds in this scope. Circumstances require immediate sale. I'm just selling the scope itself, no mount, use your existing mount. Comes with a Vixen dovetail. A Telrad base is taped to it but no Telrad is included. Orion sells them BN for $999, I will let this barely-used one go for $750, and will throw-in a free 2" Lumicon DS filter.
