I love the idea of an eclipse disaster movie. I see eclipse chasing planes and helicopters colliding and exploding in midair with burning debris falling on hapless ground observers. The name needs to be something worthy of the Sci Fi channel. I cant do anything clever with the words eclipse and holocaust but Eclipsageddon works or if we work in some wrestling Eclipsamania. Deloy
Don't forget people being struck blind by the millions or going insane, and pregnant women miscarrying or giving birth to monsters. On Fri, Aug 23, 2013 at 9:47 PM, D P Pierce <starsbirdsglyphs@gmail.com>wrote:

I just thought of the finale. Due to the gravitation pull of the sun and moon combined the Yellowstone caldera, sometimes called the Yellowstone super volcano, has a massive eruption wiping out much of the US! Deloy
Good, but I'd change it so that the Yellowstone cauldera erupts due to the combined mass of all the "well fed" amateur astronomers in the world strung-out along a previously unknown fault line. It was BBQ ribs that caused the end of the world... On Sat, Aug 24, 2013 at 5:44 PM, D P Pierce <starsbirdsglyphs@gmail.com>wrote:

I actually remember this movie and have wondered if i actually saw it. Apparently I did, but I would have been 4 years old or saw it on a repeat. I remember the people turning to dust because of the solar flares. Where Have All the People Gone (1974) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072400/plotsummary?ref_=tt_ov_pl A strange series of solar flares proves fatal for inhabitants of the Earth, except for the fortunate few who are somehow immune from the effects. Animals go insane and human beings turn to white powder, leaving behind only empty clothing. A handful of survivors attempt to rebuild their lives on the de-populated Earth. Staring: Peter Graves, George O'Hanlon Jr., Kathleen Quinlan
