RE: [Utah-astronomy] (From NASA) Mars - RecentGushingWaterandNewCraters
KSL has this story on their Website, and a reader has posted the question of how much money "fanatics" will be willing to pay for a bottle of Mars water?
The first bottle will cost about three quarters of a trillion dollars. The second bottle will be $1.99.
I want to know who's going to verify that it's authentic Martian water and not the common, boring, garden-earth variety of H20?! Sounds like a tempting opportunity for scam artists. Picture a guy on a NY street corner in a black trenchcoat, selling authentic Mars water right alongside those "authentic" Rolex watches. Say, he rather resembles Chuck Hards! See Chuck, your retirement plan is firmly in place! ;o) --- Michael Carnes <michaelcarnes@earthlink.net> wrote:

Hey! Chemically it's identical to Martian water. I dare you to tell them apart in bind taste tests... Coming soon, Mars water with a twist of lemon! Mars2-O AquaDeimos
From our proprietary "H.G." wells...
Mix it with a little Cutty on the rocks, for a "Kuiper belt" --- Richard Tenney <retenney@yahoo.com> wrote:

Guy Malmburg is accepting deposits for martian scuba vacations. You have to provide your own air fare, hotel accomodations and meals. But members of Utah-astronomy will receive a free pair of Vulcan ears and a Klingon dictionary. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
