I just paid my current cell phone bill. It's a good thing that I have unlimited texting for everyone in the house. Last month my daughter managed to send over 6,500 texts! How does she find the time to eat, sleep, or attend class? She moves more data than Telstar.
Dude, you dodged a bullet. Earlier this year my 17 y-o stepdaughter, after PLEADING with her mom and me to add her cell phone to our family plan because it was so much cheaper than having her phone on an individual plan, proceeded to crank out not quite four thousand text messages in her first month of service. Texting was not included in our family plan. I could have bought a nice telescope for what that month's cell phone bill came to. Now I hear news stories of kids who regularly send ten thousand messages per month and don't see what the fuss is. JEEZ, PEOPLE - PUT DOWN THE &!*@! PHONE AND GET A LIFE! -----Original Message----- From: utah-astronomy-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:utah-astronomy-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Chuck Hards Sent: Friday, April 04, 2008 3:00 PM To: Utah Astronomy Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Kids texting I just paid my current cell phone bill. I saw a news report on a Japanese teenager that has written a couple books on her cell phone.
I sure would like to be able to block text messages, I usually have about 50 cents a month on my cell phone bill from strange text messages. Dude, you dodged a bullet.

I've never sent a text message on my cell phone, never took a photo on my cell phone, I use my phone maybe 75 minutes a month, less when I call family just too busy being active w/ projects and the studio. I do like e-mail though ..... aloha Rob
Sprint does just that. After they tried charging me for receiving a couple of texts I called and they reversed the charges and blocked any further text messages from going to my phone. Perhaps your carrier can do the same? patrick On 04 Apr 2008, at 16:51, erikhansen@TheBlueZone.net wrote:

OMG, Chcuk, and you are not in an institution???? Have you put her up for adoption? I cannot fathom spending that much time in one month. How old is she? Got anymore gray hairs? Good Luck! Our sympathies go out to you. You are a big man! Jim --- Chuck Hards <chuck.hards@gmail.com> wrote:
