Joe, No matter what Gore had tried to do in the 2000 election, there is no precedent for the Supreme Court to rule on a national election. The correct course would have been to do a full and complete recount for the whole state. Fuuny how the votes of the American people were placed in the hands of an ultra conservative Supreme Court. That is why I consider the 2000 Presdidential election to be stolen. Gore would have won Florida. And the Republican shenanigans in Ohio cost Kerry the 2004 election.
