Patrick, I can't be sure, as I wasn't around SLAS at that time, but I believe #6 is Larry Anderson. I only met him once when my parents bought a 10" Cave Astrola from him in 1985. That Cave mirror has given me (and others) some incredible views and is one of my most prized possessions. I wasn't sure if I was remembering the name correctly but I did find reference of him in the SLAS Past document: http://slas.us/slasbooks/SLASPAST.PDF Aloha, Dave Bennett Hilo, Hawaii On Feb 9, 2014, at 10:50 PM, Wiggins Patrick <paw@getbeehive.net> wrote:

Dave, what's the serial number on your Cave mirror? We need to get that scope into the Cave registry of known survivors. On Wed, Feb 19, 2014 at 6:04 PM, David Bennett <dlbennett@mac.com> wrote:

Thanks or the tip Dave. As bad luck would have it the phone number listed for him in the SLAS master roster is no longer his. But maybe your mentioning the name will jog others' memories and help me track him down. patrick On 19 Feb 2014, at 18:04, David Bennett <dlbennett@mac.com> wrote:

Patrick, See if Bernson recognizes #6 as it was Dave who put my folks in touch with him. Was there a classified section during that time or do you think it was all word of mouth?
Thanks or the tip Dave.

Chuck, I will take a shot of the mirror when I get a little time. I had no idea that there was such a registry on CN...very cool. Dave (proud to be verging on geezer)
