Pan-STARRS managed to stay hidden from viewers at SPOC this evening but could you believe the number of public that showed up? That had to be one of the biggest turnouts we've had at a SPOC event in a long time. And it was nice to see how happy the crowd seemed to be. Even if the comet was a no show the public seemed happy to see Jupiter and the Moon. And let's not forget Dave Bernson's magical mystery laser light tour of the skies that had large parts of the crowd enthralled. Yeah, we didn't see the comet tonight but it was still be very nice night.
