Fine photo, Dave, and in my opinion the moon is fully eclipsed. It's just not all in the deepest section. Thanks, Joe. It does look close to fully eclipsed. Joan, I used exposure times ranging from 1/4-second (early and late in eclipse) to 8-seconds exposure (near totality to bring out the detail in the more heavily shadowed areas of Moon’s surface). Also, I used an old Nikon Coolpix 4500 digital camera. As far as digital cameras go, it’s ancient. Its chip is getting a little worse-for-wear. There tends to be quite a few “hot” pixels in every photo I take with it nowadays. Reminds me of me… worse-for-wear, except I have no “hot” pixels.
