Dave, I fell in love with the TeleVue 85 when Al Nagler showed it to me at the '98 Texas Star Party. The only reason I didn't buy it was that I got a good deal on the TV-102 on AstroMart. The guy had just bought an NP-101 so he sold me his 102. If you are planning on traveling alot on airplanes then the TV-85 would be better. If I ever get to the Winter Star Party I may buy a TV-85. The TV-85 is short enough to take as a carry-on, Debbie
