Here is the long story made short. I took my family over to the Valley Fair Mall to their new courtyard with large tree etc. last night. The light pollution reminds me a lot of observing from a Harmons parking lot but for Lunar, Jupiter and some doubles it should be a simply outstanding place to set up. I went to the Management office today and met the VP of the company that runs the mall now and he was simply "all in". It would be early so even a work night should work during the holidays sometime. Any one care to join me? Reply here or contact me off list for what few details I have so far. Steve
I could do a night Sun-Weds. Let me know. I was at Wasatch State Park over the weekend and spent a while chatting with one of the volunteers there. He said they don't have an astronomy program either. That might be a good place to do something sometime. When it's not freezing. The "new" outside area is Great! I'm still not up to going in the inside portion of the mall without Kevlar myself. It is changing but very slowly. Steve

Sunday through Wednesday. I haven't been out lately, because quite frankly, I'm not dedicated enough to it to get cold. This sounds like a pretty good time tho. On Mon, Nov 28, 2011 at 6:34 PM, Mark Shelton <astroshelton@yahoo.com>wrote:
