Tonight looks like the only weather break we'll get for a while, so I'm heading to Lakeside. Anyone want to meet me there? Best wishes, Joe

Hi Chuck, I used the National Weather Service site, entering Knolls, UT -- and it says tonight is mostly clear while there's a chance of thunderstorms tomorrow night. What other site can I try? Tomorrow night is looking better, from what I've seen. _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Visit the Photo Gallery: http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php

I'm going on experience here, Joe, so take it with a big bag of salt. The good news is that this summer monsoon afternoon cloud usually clears-off after midnight, unless it's a huge storm. Set up, and grab a nap if it's not quite optimal just yet.
