Tyler, too cool. It makes me wish that our eyes could actually see objects the way our cameras do. On Mon, Apr 1, 2013 at 1:15 PM, Tyler Allred <tyler@allred-astro.com> wrote:

I just learned something. I had no idea that using a hydrogen alpha filter would make those cosmic jets appear. I thought those were only visible in the infra-red spectrum. ________________________________ From: Tyler Allred <tyler@allred-astro.com> To: utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Monday, April 1, 2013 1:15 PM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] New Image - M82 and Jets - Homemade Astrograph Hi all. Tyler, OK, that takes the cake. I wish you would not publish professional photos under your own name. Actually, I am always wowed by your images. WOW, just WOW! M82 is my favorite galaxy. Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I really appreciate it. BTW - I am headed to Mexico for a little flyfishing, so imaging will be on hold for about 10 days. Hey... someone has to exercise those bonefish, tarpon, snook, permit, jacks, etc., etc., etc. :) Tyler
Life can be so hard, I really feel for you, brother. ;-) At least take a big bino or some kind of optical aid, and try some visual observing as far south as you can see. Lots of good stuff that we don't get to see up here. Have fun in the sun! On Tue, Apr 2, 2013 at 12:16 AM, Tyler Allred <tyler@allred-astro.com>wrote:
