Sorry Chuck, that's not so. The Dave Gray I'm thinking of does not live in the St. George area; he and his wife observed at Lakeside this month. He sometimes comments here. Ed, I don't know a Dave Gray, but Dave Gary and I have corresponded quite a bit. Dave Gary does live in St. George, but has been known to visit SLC, IIRC. C. On Mon, Sep 22, 2014 at 6:03 PM, Ed <utnatsedj1@xmission.com> wrote:

That must be someone else, Joe. I do live in St. George. That comet photo is mine and is posted on my Flickr page. It was taken from the driveway observatory in St. George. The last name is Gary. It must have been someone else you met at Lakeside. I thought you may have had me confused with someone else when we last had correspondence. Of course, I’m easily confused. It seems to be my normal state these days. We did meet once (in Bryce Canyon during the ALCON festival) a few years back. I doubt you remember. You were pretty busy with your scope. Hopefully, we will meet more formally one of these days. I am determined to make a liver-and-onions meeting when the opportunity arises. I'm in Georgia about an hour east of Atlanta. We were sitting on the dock last night looking at stars as clouds rolled in and out. Around 10pm eastern time we saw a few meteors that were brighter than normal. Didn't think much about it till I read your email this morning. Nancy Matro Sent from my iPad
