Very interesting Patrick, thanks for posting the link. This "fleet" is for TV transmitting to ground dishes, yes? On Tue, Feb 3, 2009 at 11:06 PM, Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com>wrote:

Glad you liked it. Here's a link to info on the satellites: http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Astra-1 It's a great night tonight! patrick
"Great night tonight" -- oh, easy for you to say. I toiled along setting up on our front lawn to take advantage of what looked like a fine (though too moon-y) night, only to discover that my corrector plate was covered with heavy frost! And my wife doesn't have a hair-drier! So I worked getting everything put away but now my corrector plate has a lot of little specks on it, I guess from fog that was dusty. I'll have to clean it, I suppose. I'm glad things are better out your way. Best wishes, Joe --- On Wed, 2/4/09, Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com> wrote: From: Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com> Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] Geostationary satellite "movie" To: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Date: Wednesday, February 4, 2009, 12:53 AM On 03 Feb 2009, at 23:55, Chuck Hards wrote:

Read all about it, http://deseretnews.com/blogs/1,5322,10000034,00.html?bD=20090203 Don't blame me if Sen. Buttars doesn't like it. But then he'd probably say Jim was a black and ugly thing. -- Joe
That's truly odd.
