RE: [Utah-astronomy] Something quite interesting
Joe, Lee and I are still planning to be at Golden Spike this weekend. The weather looks pretty bad, so I don't know if we will get to see anything. We'll see you there if you make it. I'm definitely thinking of doing this. I hope I can make it to the next star party. Hey, I've got a telescope on my wish list. It's not very expensive but it is rather nice. I found it on Telescope.com and it's an Orion I believe. 09820 Apex(tm) 90mm Maksutov-Cassegrain That is the item # and the model. I know they say you should buy binoculars first, but I just can't resist it for $199. I just need an inexpensive tripod. The only one that I think fits is $79. I haven't bought it yet, but hopefully one of these days. I'm currently in the process of trying to get another job. See you at the Golden Spike Star Party (I hope I can make it).
