Fellow SLASers, This is the second major impact on Jupiter in less than 20 years. Image if earth has a major hit from a meteor or comet every 20 years. Life on earth would be hammered hard. We should be grateful that Jupiter sweeps the solar system of hazards. Last night I attempted to spot the impact on Jupiter with a 4 inch Meade ETX-60AT.
