I know there are people on here who know Mat H., Mr. ATM and so you are aware, his Dad who is 81 had a massive stroke on Sunday while driving and was in a horrible car crash. As of now it doesn't look good but no word. Please keep Mat and his family in your thoughts, prayers or feelings. Here's hoping that the best for Mat's Dad and his family comes to pass.
I am so sorry to hear about this. I hope and pray for a good outcome Matt Best wishes Mark Sent from my iPhone On May 15, 2013, at 6:11 PM, Jay Eads <jayleads@gmail.com> wrote:

Matt, life throws some real curve balls. This one is particularly difficult. Sorry to hear this. My prayers go out for you and your family.
Oh, I am so sorry, Mat. Praying for a good outcome to an awful situation Mat... I know how this feels. I lost my own father to a stroke a year ago February. /R ________________________________ From: Jay Eads <jayleads@gmail.com> To: Utah Astronomy <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Wednesday, May 15, 2013 6:11 PM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Mat's Dad I know there are people on here who know Mat H., Mr. ATM and so you are aware, his Dad who is 81 had a massive stroke on Sunday while driving and was in a horrible car crash. Praying for Mat, his dad, and his family, and hoping for the best. I lost my dad in '94; he was behind the wheel of his big-rig when he suffered an aortal aneurism. Usually consciousness is lost almost immediately, but somehow he got the truck pulled-over out of traffic and the brake set, before he slipped away, miraculously.
Thank-you Jay for informing my friends here at Utah Astro of the news of my father. Thank-you all for your words of support, your thoughts and your prayers. My dad did pass-away due to the stroke and accident. His funeral was on Saturday (5/18) in the St. George area. Last week was filled with moments of insight, memories, laughter and tears. My dad was an amazing individual and left a great mark on many. I will miss him, but I can only imagine the incredibly good time he is now having with long missed family and friends.
