Ideas for Portable Shade when Using a Solar Scope
Do any of you clever "build it yourself" folks have ideas on a way to set up portable shade for the viewer while looking through a solar scope? We just bought a Coronado PST and we're trying to think of clever ways to set up shade on our driveway. Having one person stand (i.e. me) holding an umbrella doesn't enhance my viewing pleasure. Aloha Ann I use a light stand and a sand bag w/ a Matthews grip head and 24x36 black gobo. This assembly is positioned to offer shade to the observer. Light weight and as about as expensive as a canopy device but way easier to transport and set up. Aloha Rob PS I'll send you a photo of the set up during use
