For Sale: Large *Galileo 15x70mm binocular*. CF, heavy-duty rubber armor, multi-coated optics. Tripod/parallelgram mountable or hand-held, they don't weigh a ton. These are optically identical to the same models marketed under the Celestron, Oberwerk, Orion, Barska brands and made by the same Asian factory, but with a much heavier rubber "armor". Soft case included. Molded dust covers for objectives and eyepieces. Bright, wide-field views. Be ready for comet ISON, as well as touring the sky this observing season. I have seen many objects with this bino. Some of the larger spiral galaxies are simply stunning from a dark sky. Some of you may have looked through this same bino at SPOC in the past. I've been using it for comet PanSTARRS with terrific views from my back yard. I upgraded recently thanks to a tax refund, and am selling these. They have been my favorite astro-binocular for some years now and are in excellent condition. This type of bino typically sells for between $70 to $150 plus shipping, depending on brand, rubber armor thickness, coatings, etc.; I'll let these go for $60 cash. Will deliver free to any location in Salt Lake county. I would prefer to not ship them. Thanks!
Chuck. I will take them if still available. I live in Salt Lake. We can hook up this weekend. Sent from my iPhone On Mar 22, 2013, at 6:32 AM, Chuck Hards <chuck.hards@gmail.com> wrote:

I tried the ones you have now that belong to Kay, and they are so nose heavy I couldn't use them. Send me your phone number and I will give you a call. Best... Norm 801 876-3409
