Hi Chuck, Nope, I will be 62 the day before I retire next April, definitely not too young in this high-stress job; I've been a professional journalist since 1968 and a high school or college journalist since I think 1963. So that's long enough. I don't know who will take over the science beat. But I believe the editors are pleased with science as a topic and I doubt that it will be abandoned.
