Chuck The water tank is actually the AEOS scope http://www.maui.afmc.af.mil/ used in satellite recon that sports a 3.67meter mirror that can rotate 180ยบ in less than 20 sec. It's quite a scope especially when it's pointed in one direction and then rapidly slews the other way. Haleakala soil at sunset is very red and at times there are parts of this mountain that seem to be from another place. Still raining, Oahu got 14" today, major flooding on the leeward side of the island, we're just wet on Maui Aloha Rob
