While I'm still on an unlimited data plan (very old iPhone on ATT) with some carriers putting limits on downloads, attachments could be a problem.
But the biggest reason for no attachments is exposure to viruses. Apparently hackers have found attachments great vectors for malware.
I'm on more lists than I can remember from huge lists like SBIG and Software Bisque to little ones like this and as far as I know only one (a small one) allows attachments. Perhaps not by coincidence it's that one list that seems to have the most problems with folks having their addresses hacked.
BTW, getting back to the original subject of this thread, Joe did an outstanding job of turning my monochrome images into a very nice color image. Joe, what's say you post it to your album on the SLAS Gallery for all to admire?
