Personally, I use SLAS april star parties for my long term weather forecasts. When I see a SPOC Star Party date, I mark rainy on my calendar.
It's too bad the weather forecast is looking very iffy for the weekend.
Is there a sign that can be put up informing the public that the event is cancelled if the weather won't allow it?
I've heard of people going to SPOC for public star parties even in a downpour. Even if the bad weather caveat is mentioned in the press, a few still show up. _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy
