I'm reminded of the postal system in Italy where I served as an LDS missionary. For example, in 1984 a letter from a government office arrived at its final destination in Rome. It had been posted from an office two blocks away...in 1943. At the top of the page, you can enter a time and a date. (The time
is not important for your purposes.) This will allow you to follow a thread, month by month, to its long past conclusion... No need to resurrect, or ask questions about, threads that died eons ago.
