This link should go to a series of pictures taken. The last photo is a backup wheel for the Curiosity rover . Was surprised at how lightweight it was. Probably 90-95% of the weight is in the hub. The rubber is stiff but extremely light. The wheels are getting trashed, traveling over sharp rocks on the Martian surface.
