I hate to be a wet blanket, and I am as much at fault as anyone. But we have a sort of gentlemen's and ladies' agreement to steer away from the debate over climate change simply because it led to some (verbal) blood-letting in the past. ------------------------------ On Sat, May 10, 2014 10:26 PM MDT RON VANDERHULE wrote:
Dave, I think you extrapolated a little to much from my research comment. The research I do is what most of us do when we want to understand more of the details behind the controversies or subjects we have an interest in. Google it. I also have several astronomy and general science sites that I reference. (Science Daily and Fox News' Science and Tech sections are quite good). I might also add that it is said 97% of scientists are supporters of man made climate change. Well, "my research indicates" the disparity between the two positions is not at all that large. It is quite easy to find many prominent scientists and science groups that counter the current hysteria. For those of you still wringing your hands over this I recommend a site called Climate Depot. Lots of solid info. I love Astronomy. Ron
