Just a half a block east of the 39th South Trax station. If that's too far for your chair, let me know and we can meet you at the station if needed. See you on the 4th, Erik!

Emulsion-based photography still has a few die-hard purists, but it's largely digital now. Many do narrowband imaging for false-color final images that are pretty darn good.
I mostly wanted the focuser just because it's old Jaegers. They weren't the most precise focusers around, though I have one that was re-worked by Jim Riffle (Astro Works) and is smooth as silk. Back in the day, the 2.7" focuser was designed mostly to accomodate those huge military-surplus Erfle eyepieces. I don't think there is a commercial imaging chip that is large enough to take advantage of a 2.7" image plane. Or if there is, most regular folks couldn't afford it.

No I do not, It had some issues even with the moto focus. In different circumstances i would have replaced with some of the very nice new tailpiece and a fancy custom focuser. Am I correct in thinking an oversized diameter is most important if you do photography. Does anyone do black and white anymore?
I had to make some quick and hard decisions on what to keep while i downsized.

Do you still have the focuser?

will be good to see you again as well. I am going to take pictures of all items i still need to sell and I will give Utah locals one last chance to.
I am fully mobile again, as long as it is near a TRAX station.
I live downtown now so if you want to grab lunch sometime, we can do that.

It would be good to see you again, Erik, you are a founding member of the L&O Subcommittee.
I have Jaegers 6" f/5, f/10, & f/15 lenses, as well as the 5" f/5, or I would have bought the f/5 from you.
I suppose we could bring some for-sale items, but it's looking like this one will be sparsely attended, so it's up to you.

I am in a position to make it there now BTW.
Any interest in making it a mini swap meet?
BTW, in downsizing i scraped everything in my refractor except the lens, i will be selling it nationally if no local interest. So, last chance to keep a truly "rich field" objective in Utah.
