Thanks to Don, Robert and all others who responded. I'll give the Windows XP emulator more thought. Before posting, I stopped at the point when Windows Prof directed me to go into the BIOS settings to enable a Virtual PC. I felt that was getting too much into a "temporary hack" solution for a updated driver for one device, since my LPI is the only piece of gear or software that I need to install it for. Secondly, as Don noted, the Windows XP VM is glitchy, as I found in several newsgroup posts. But I'll take a second look at enabling a virtual Windows XP. I may decide to sit back and see if a light-weight, inexpensive low-res LPI camera that is Windows 7 compatible comes on the market. Thanks again for all the extended replies on this thread. - Kurt P.S. Come to think of it, I'll probably have the same problem on the outbound communication - that is a USB-to-Serial Converter that I would need to autoguide the scope. Anyone using a USB-Serial Converter that runs and installed under Windows 7 Prof?
