Barrett, I think that a weekend meteorite hunt combined with a star party would be a big hit. I will bring this up in our next board meeting. As far as your presentation at our May General meeting, it was fantastic. By the interest shown at this meeting, I would be surprised if we couldn't get a group together to form a weekend meteorite hunt. We could hunt during the day on a Saturday and Sunday and then have the StarParty on Saturday night, along with a campout. If there is enough interest in something like this, I can start doing some homework on where and when and check with BLM or a private landowner about where to have it.
