Spectacular launch, a lot of fun with all the extra cameras on board this time. I nearly missed it, heading off to work. Glad I had the radio on, and promptly turned the car around to make it back in the house at T-minus-10 seconds! Very cool. As to SLAS, I'd like to recommend a committee (the existing board perhaps?) that oversees speakers, so it's not the job of the president (alone) to assign speakers or to know exclusively what's on the program. Assuming I don't show tonight, would someone in SLAS please bring this up for discussion tonight? -Rich --- Patrick Wiggins <paw@trilobyte.net> wrote:
SLAS meeting tonight. Sorry but I don't know the topic.
Better still, NASA TV reports that all is still a "go" for today's launch. 8:39 is awfully early for me to be getting up but I really want to see that sucker go!
Chuck, Guy, Kurt, how many match heads to launch the shuttle? :-)
Patrick
