I have the greatest respect for Veterans, although I am not one of them. As a woman, in particular, I enjoy my country and the privilege of enjoying astronomy because of them. I take the need to send our country's men and women in to battle, to die, very seriously, even as a private citizen. Asking for opinions is appropriate for any board and waxing nostalgic is also enjoyable, but grumblling about things that are way past and can't be changed is useless and boring. SLAS can be as tripping over itself political as it wants, as always. This is Utah-Astronomy.
