Thanks, Joe" Yes, there seemed to be a disconnected between the web application's description of the light physical damage to buildings and my personal experience of magnitude 7.0 earthquake in 1971. But no worries, the other major damage is the flash burn from the fireball that would be 10 times the sun's mean brightness.
