50-70 seem pretty usual. In valley star parties are great, they give valley resident easy access to star parties. I hope the telescopes given away are used and went to future avid astronomers. I wonder how much public shows up a SPOC tonight?
Wheeler Farm was a successful star party from my point of view. We
probably had 50-75 people last night. The big hit was the free give aways that Roger did. Books and a Telescope were handed out.
I always love to come and see other equipment and learn what works and why things work the way they do. I have yet to attend a star party where I did not gain valuable information for myself and give a little to others.

How was Wheeler Farm? Lessoned learned tonight. If I want to observe or go to a star party and it looks iffy, just go. More often than not it will clear.
