Patrick I have several scopes and use them like eyepieces to fit the scale of the project. My 80 Fluorite doublet is my wide field scope (also have a ST120) but my favorites are my C9.25 and C14. I also use an Explore Scientific 152mm refractor for all but the brightest objects. What about a decent tele lens for your Nikon?? It sure is a pretty comet, though. And, for once, it's actually an object better placed for viewing here than in Hawaii. :)
