Moon bows are as common as rainbows, from my experience. Like Rob said, to the naked eye it is VERY faint, even when the moon is full, too dim to discern the colors. But with a sufficiently long time-exposure, it would be indistinguishable from a daytime, sun-caused rainbow photograph.
