Filking is always good. Especially when it involves Cthulhu. Jess's favorite toy when she was a toddler was a stuffed Cthulhu. She still has it, and it's joined by slippers, and a larger one. I had a bumper sticker on a car long ago that said 'My money and my sanity go to Miskatonic University. Go Pods!'. And there have only been 2 books that I've stayed up all night to finish because they creeped me out so much...One was Stephen King's 'Pet Sematary', the other was Lovecraft's 'At the Mountains of Madness'.
