Hi all, Chuck says he received an email supposedly from me that had a virus in it. I checked with our systems guy, who says it's impossible for a virus to infect the Macs we use, as the viruses are written for PCs. Sometimes I access my email from home, but then the paper provides a special firewall, which is said to be exceptionally powerful. I also ran a Norton virus checker on my laptop and it came out clean. So I doubt that there was anything from my machine; much more likely, some "spoof" virus copied my email address and made it seems the virus came from it. Our system guy, Ashley, says that is fairly easy to do. I received a bounced email that I had supposedly sent, with the subject "Fwd: photo" and it is possible that is an example of the spoofing, with the email bouncing back to me when it did not go through. So in case this is still happening, do not open any mail that seems to come from me with that subject. Meanwhile, I do not have any concern that my computer really is sending out viruses. Thanks, Joe
