I was at the sun party until about 10:30, had to leave early to meet my wife at her sister's house, who is moving. Terrific views, everyone there saw that nice prominence. The sun was more active than I've seen it in a while. Especially through Tony's scope, that setup just made me want to toss my little PST in the river! LOL! I had my video camera on the PST, feeding a 9" monitor in back of the old Explorer. The views through an eyepiece were better of course, MUCH better, but the video setup showed some pretty great detail and it seems like it's a good option for group viewing. I need to try it on the white-light scope next. Thanks to SLAS for another terrific Sun Party at Winchester Park. I think yesterday was the hottest sun party I've been to.
