SLASers,, I recently returned from the Geological Society of America meeting. I attended many talks on Planetary astronomy. One talk was on research on a robotic explorer that is planned for Europa The talk was on an autonomous robotic underwater vehicle. There were many talks on Mars and related subjects. For example, high resolution photographs shed new light on the subject of water on Mars. Another session covered the geophysics of terrestrial planets. Finally, a paper outsourced the death of dinos to India due to massive volcanoes. These are just a few of many interesting talks that were devoted to space science. -----Original Message----- From: Seth Jarvis Sent: Monday, November 12, 2007 9:55 AM To: Utah Astronomy Subject: RE: [Utah-astronomy] Video capture? P.S. - Maybe some of the experienced imagers here would have some comments about the high-end video cameras shown in the S&T classifieds - e.g. the Astrovid StellaCam3. The StellaCam3 has is cooled and has a direct video feed port that does not require a laptop. Such cameras are beyond my pocketbook, so I have no experience with them. - Kurt _______________________________________________ Sent via CSolutions - http://www.csolutions.net _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Visit the Photo Gallery: http://gallery.utahastronomy.com Visit the Wiki: http://www.utahastronomy.com _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Visit the Photo Gallery: http://gallery.utahastronomy.com Visit the Wiki: http://www.utahastronomy.com
