Anybody have any favorite recipes that they take in the field? Something to fend-off hunger while probing the universe?
I'm not talking about Snickers bars, or soda.
Soups, chilli, sandwiches, snack wraps perhaps? For me, it's typically something taken in a thermos, already hot and fully prepared. All you need is a cup and maybe a spoon. Easy, hot, quick to consume, satisfying.
I have an all-veggie black-bean soup recipe, for instance, if anyone is interested. (Looking in Patrick's general direction...) Also a black-eyed-pea stew with turkey kielbasa, chicken, okra and mustard greens (great with jalapeno corn bread).
Any other tasty ideas? _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy
