There is another option outside of Orion but it costs more. Stellarvue sells a correct image finderscope that allows you to use your own 1 1/4 inch eyepieces. Here is a line to them: http://www.stellarvue.com/f50.html In terms of a Telrad, I use a Telrad riser of the 4 inch height and it pretty well eliminates a weird contortion.
