Wow, the separation is much greater this morning. You can really see that Venus is rapidly pulling far ahead of earth in it's smaller, faster orbit. Regulus seems much brighter as well, due to not having to compete with the much brighter planet right next to it. Before you know it, Venus will be back in the evening sky.
