Joe got it all right, Bruce. Everyone is welcome...this is not a club-sponsored event. This list is comprised of folks from all the local clubs, plus a few out-of-staters. Tull was excellent. The show practically flew by; I couldn't believe it was 11:15 when it ended. Seemed like it just started. Got to meet the Young Dubs afterwards; we lingered exiting, and met them in the lobby signing their new CD. Had them practically to ourselves. Got a bunch of new T-shirts to wear to star-parties. Martin was awesome, as usual. Ian was having fun as well. They only played one encore, however, but it was "Locomotive Breath", brought the house down. I still laugh when I see fifty and sixty year-olds jumping up and down, yelling "ROCK & ROLL!" Chuck --- Joe Borgione <jborgion@xmission.com> wrote:
Starting time is when people show up; with the long days, my guess is the 'social hour' will be more like the social couple of hours. Personally, I'm going to head home after work (5:00ish) load my stuff up and head out, probably getting there between 7:00 and 8:00. I'm quite sure I won't be the first one there.
As Chuck mentioned in an earlier thread, bring what ever you think you'll need to be comfortable for a few hours in the west desert. Food, water, and a warm jacket. A folding beach chair is a nice amenity too. Observing-wise, well, it is Binopalooza... Friends and family are welcome; seems like we are all friends or family...
Hey Chuck- How was Tull? ( silly me... )
