"How many at Bryce? Did they all take their Bryce Eclipse glasses and leave?" I haven't heard an official total for visitors on Sunday but based on other numbers I'm guessing that we had between six and eight thousand people here for the eclipse. Some may certainly have picked up their free eclipse glasses and left, but their numbers would have to be very few. Out of the eight thousand glasses that we bought, one thousand were sold at the visitor center beginning a week prior to the eclipse and the rest were made available for free after 2:00 Sunday afternoon. We had about one thousand left over to be used for the Venus transit but we also asked families and larger groups of people to share glasses so that we would not run out. I'd say six thousand minimum is a conservative estimate. Kim
