I never noticed it until now but M-57 does look something like a flat tire... patrick p.s. Joe, have you considered carrying one of those new Personal Locator Beacons when you are in the wild? While not intended for non- life threatening situations like the one your described, they come in handy if the user is in danger. Unlike the old Emergency Locator Transmitters that just sent out an omnidirectional beam that was hard to track, PLB's broadcast the exact GPS coordinates of the unit's location to satellites that immediately forward those data on to search and rescue.
