Don, I've had a pair of the 25x100mm for about six or seven weeks now. Havenn't had them under a truly dark sky yet, but the early reviews are favorable. Of course there is some color at 25x, but not bad at all for fast cemented doublets like these, and you don't see it on deep-sky objects, only the bright stuff like the moon. Unlike Apogees other large binos, these are all-aluminum (not plastic). As a result, they weigh nearly 10 lbs. My standard parallelogram will not hold them. The FOV is generous, eye relief adequate for me (I do wear glasses). Nice fit and finish for the money. Jim Gibson has had a pair for much longer than I, maybe he's had a chance to really put them through their paces. These are as-good or better than the Pro-Optic 100mm model that has traditionally sold for $800-$1200, but I would not put them up against Japanese binos in the $2000-$5000 class.
