I finished up my regular projects a bit early tonight so when I went out to close the observatory I just stood there a while and looked up at the sky. Sometimes I don't think I do that enough.
It was fun to see the Pleiades over in the east with the Milky Way stretching across the sky and even M-31.
Granted my skies here near SPOC are not in the same class as places like Bryce Canyon. But as long as I can see stuff like that naked eye I'm going to call them "not bad at all".
BTW, something moved in a few of my images tonight that does not appear to be in the Minor Planet Center's database. No idea what it is so just reported it and will wait to see what they say.
