Hi Joe, When I was up at Mountain Meadows on Oct 21, I was finishing up some faint planetary nebulae on my list. When Cygnus moved to the west so not to strain my neck, I did an "Align" on Albeiro and viewed this wonderful double at 343X. I then moved 2.5 degrees north to Campbell's Hydrogen Star, a magnitude 9.6 planetary nebula. It is easy to find because it has a distinct red color to it. It looks like a fat red star but it does not respond to either the UHC or OIII filters. But it has strong response to the H-beta filter. Unfortunately I didn't have one. I thought Campbell's Hydrogen Star was a cool target. Anyway, I loved the colors in these stars. TX Piscium is a deep red star, reminds me of R Leporis, or Hind's Crimson Star. Anyway, great article.
