Three astro-folks showed up last night at Lakeside -- a fellow I'd met there once before, Jason; a member of SLAS, Van or Von, and myself. The night was so hot that my SBIG camera only dropped its temperature to freezing, which doesn't make for great astrophotography. The moon didn't set until around midnight and the night was too short to get much done. But I did make a view of NGC6140 in Draco, a complex barred spiral with a bright curving center. I posted it on the SLAS gallery. Thanks for taking a look -- Joe http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=5327
