I was up at about 5:00 am this morning (12-13) taking a soak in my hot tub, and saw quite a number of them as well, probably a half dozen or so in 15-20 minutes, in suburban-light polluted skies. All were real attention getters. Also saw what I think was the ISS passing by from south to north along the eastern sky, but haven't looked at a tracking program for a while to confirm it; large, very bright satellite-like object. The meteors were just shooting across the sky while we were imaging with my DSLR camera. One meteor looked like a roman candle as it headed south and lingered like a firework. And this was before midnight. I'm hoping for an even better show tonight.
